- The catastrophe that fractured the world a generation before the story begins.
- The World Government
- The power that stitched the planet back together afterwards, and keeps it that way.
- The Lync

- The Cleansing
- What the government calls the campaign that burns Rin Renslow’s desert home to ash.
From 2012 to now
Bioweapon began as Bioweapon: New Beginnings, first published in 2012. This edition is a much bigger book. Part One, Legacy, is that story rewritten. Part Two, Deliverance, was written soon after the original and sat unpublished for years. It has been rewritten for this edition.
If you read the original, this is where the story goes next.
